Residual Gas Treatment Process

For fishmeal factories, there are two categories of residual gases: hot and humid residual gases.

Hot residual gas comes from equipment such as cooking machines, dryers, and tanks. This is the water vapor that evaporates from the cooker, press, and sampling process during flour drying and treatment. It is characterized by a high concentration, a high temperature, and in the form of water vapor.

Humid residual gases mainly refer to the smelly gases present in the production workshops, the ponds of gross fish, and the warehouses of finished products. It is characterized by a relatively low concentration, a temperature close to room temperature, but in sometimes fairly large volume.

Longyuan Sifang offers two sets of hot residual gas treatment solutions for customers to choose from, taking into account both environmental well-being and factory residual gas emissions requirements.

 

Waste Gas Treatment Plan 1

The large amount of hot and humid residual gas from the cooker and dryer is collected by a closed pipeline and enters the deodorizing tower, where it turns into the exhaust gas condensate water after having been fully washed and cooled down by spraying cooling water, and then discharges together with spraying cooling water.

A small amount of the residual gas is transferred into the dehumidifier by blower to remove the residual moisture and then led into an ionic UV photocatalytic machine. The odor molecules of waste gas are catalytic decomposition under the irradiation action of both ion lamps and UV lamps in the ionic UV photocatalytic machine, from which the gas will be discharged after reaching the standard.

Waste Gas Treatment Plan 2

For the factories with fewer cooling water resources or drainage restrictions, Plan 2 is available.

A large amount of hot and humid residual gas is led into sets of air-cooled condensers or tubular condensers for the indirect heat exchange treatment. The residual gas is fully cooled down in such heat exchangers and turns into residual gas condensate water, which will be concentrated into the factory sewage treatment facility and discharged after reaching the standard.

And the small amount of uncooled residual gas will be led into the circulating deodorizing tower by blower for fully washing treatment in order to remove the micro-dust in it, so as to avoid affecting the working condition of the ionic UV photocatalytic machine. And the cleaned gas will be transferred into a dehumidifier to remove the residual moisture and then led into an ionic UV photocatalytic machine. The odor molecules of waste gas undergo catalytic decomposition under the irradiation action of both ion lamps and UV lamps in the ionic UV photocatalytic machine to get a good deodorization effect.
